Maybe every now and then one needs a cocoon coat and some baggy jeans, just to feel cosy and lost (or sooo very found?). And no doubt that is a good thing, given the fact we’re not living in the 50s anymore, plus men shoes are not as oversized for us as they used to be.
But even so, every more or less now and more or less then, one needs a fairytale romantic outfit and some timeless waves to go with it. Especially if we’re talking about this gorgeous French Connection dress, right?
Delicate and divine, the pinky pastel approach does not require any abstract elements or even much accessorising. Fashion has taken a turn for all things romantic, and so have I. The flirty candy double layer dress with round neckline is a real threat and it works like a clear slate in terms of getup: you can combine it with massive pendants, round pearls or even trinkets; platform sandals, high heeled shoes or even flats with pointed toe.
However, I opted for classic approach with the shoes and went for high heels, and as for the necklace – a little golden-pink party never hurt nobody, that is what I hear (and wear).
Curious fact: I picked up the clutch in Madrid a year ago – one of those impulsive purchases that you know you’re never going to wear after leaving the store, if you know what I mean. Luckily for me, it turned out that it was the perfect addition to my look. Faith? Nope. Romance!
There is passion aplenty. Think pink!
